The sweeping design of this series is inspired by the lithium atom. Three electrons, three protons, four neutrons. The top to these sculptures open to reveal a top surface representing the 3 electrons of the lithium atom. All three top surfaces match on each vessel, though they look entirely different. The sculpture also includes a representation of a lithium atom inside (not shown).
