Habitat Hammers Back: Hurricane Relief in Texas, Florida, & Puerto Rico

About This Campaign

In line with our vision of “a world where everyone has a decent place to live"; and in partnership with UR's Simon Business School and Habitat Young Professionals; Flower City Habitat is joining Habitat affiliates from around the world to support the “Habitat Hammers Back” hurricane recovery initiative.

Locally, we have set an initial fundraising goal of $2,000 to support our neighbors in need and our extended Habitat Family. Collectively with other Habitat affiliates and supporters; Habitat for Humanity will build or repair 2,000 homes in each of Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico (6,000 total).

Please donate or create a team page to support this fundraiser and help Habitat Hammer Back!

Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) is a volunteer group of emerging leaders and socially conscious young adults who support Habitat for Humanity's mission to build homes, community, and hope.

For general questions, or to get more involved with HYP or Flower City Habitat contact Ken Braley at kbraley@rochesterhabitat.org or 585-546-1470.

Campaign to Support Flower City Habitat for Humanity

People in our community, and all over the world, partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
