Hello Friends, Welcome to my Flower City Habitat for Humanity - Women Build Page! Thank you for stopping by! The Women Build team is a committed group of women who build a house from top to bottom, along with the future homeowner. This is our 15th house and I've been involved for 10 years, one way or another. We need to raise $65,000 to help fund the house. Each team member is asked to help with the fundraising through individual or group efforts. The saying is that homeowners are receiving a Hand Up, not a Hand Out. I can say that this is absolutely true. The family and the entire community benefits - with graduation rates in the 90 percentile, pride in home ownership, solid tax base - to name a few.
