A Message From Alexis Swope
I am very excited to help a mother (and her children) have the opportunity to own a house and learn financial literacy skills! Women's build is targeted toward single mothers who are ready to take the next step in their conquest to rise out of poverty. Many families within this wonderful program wouldn't have the ability to own a house otherwise! Habitat is a great organization that is making a material difference in thousands of lives throughout the world. Although I am participating in a women's build this year, Habitat builds homes for all types of families as well as create emergency relief and re-build in areas impacted by natural disasters.
