In 2018, Sage Rutty sponsored a home build through Flower City Habitat for Humanity. Employees of Sage Rutty spent several months working on that house, along side of the soon to be homeowners. During that time, I learned so much about the process and the organization. A year later, I was invited to be on the board.
Providing a stable home for the children in Rochester is a game changer. It is a fact that over 90% of children in Habitat homes graduate from high school or complete their GED. Of that 90%, roughly 70% complete post-secondary education. These recent times have certainly been challenging, and that is why now more than ever your support is needed.
